The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children visit a dentist when their first tooth appears, or no later than their first birthday. We work hard to establish a comfortable and caring environment for our child patients. Early visits to the dentist are crucial in establishing a positive relationship. Baby teeth are susceptible to the same problems that adult teeth are. After the child’s first visit, we would like to see them every six months to help prevent cavities and other dental problems such as crowding. Our team will be able to discuss hygiene, diet, and preventative measures, such as fluoride and sealants, with you. These early visits to the dentist allow us to build a solid foundation for life long dental health.
